Navy warship leave Ctg to take part in Int`l Defense Exhibition to be held in UAE

Press Release: The Navy warship Prattay left Chittagong Naval Base on Saturday to take part in the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX-2021) and Navy Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX-2021) to be held in the United Arab Emirates. On the eve of the ship`s departure from the naval jetty, the ship was officially bade farewell by a well-equipped orchestra in the traditional manner of the navy.

Commander BN Fleet Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad was present as the chief guest. Local officials, naval personnel among others also present at the moment.

Naval ships, high level representatives, observers, military experts and military personnel from different countries of the world including Bangladesh will participate in this international sea exercise and exhibition. Captain Ahmed Amin Abdullah is acting as the captain of Banauja Prattay, which has set out for the exercise with 136 sailors. By participating in this exercise of the ship, it is hoped that besides improving the professional standards of naval officers and sailors, good military relations with friendly countries will be further strengthened. After the exercise, the ship is scheduled to return to the country on March 13, 2021
