Staff Correspondent: Graduation Closing and Flying Brave Delivery Ceremony of Aviation Basic Course-11 conducted by Army Aviation Group was held at Army Aviation Group Tejgaon, Dhaka on Tuesday. Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed was present as the chief guest and the young army pilots wore flying braves.
Officers completing the Aviation Basic course from today are going to take up the challenge of performing their new duties as Army Aviators through the Bravet Awarding Ceremony. Aviation Basic Course-11 started on 25th August 2019. A total of 20 (twenty) young army officers successfully completed the basic aviation training in that course.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Civil Aviation Authority and various other civilian organizations including the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Note that Army Aviation Group is a specialized organization of the Bangladesh Army. The main goal of the organization is to provide direct air support to the military`s operational activities. Modern military aircraft and helicopters have been added to Army Aviation in keeping with the modern army. The company has been operating its flights from Tejgaon old airport since 1978. Since 1978, the institute has successfully conducted 11 Aviation Basic courses.
