BKB Gets New GM Md. Abdur Rahim

Press Release: Eminent banker Md. Abdur Rahim joined Bangladesh Krishi bank (BKB) as General Manager (GM) on February 18, 2021. Mr. Rahim prior to his joining in BKB, was the GM of Rupali Bank Limited. Before joining BKB he started his banking career in Rupali Bank Limited as Senior Officer in 1998. He completed his masters with honors in the department of Geography & Environment from the University of Dhaka securing first class. He performed his duties and responsibilities successfully as branch manager of six branches along with corporate ones. He also discharged his duty as the head of four divisions, zonal head of Dhaka North Zone and the head of planning & Research Division in head office. He was rewarded with financial award and best manager’s award in his chequered career. He completed his banking diploma. He has a thesis on socio-economic condition of the downtrodden people of Singair Upazila. He took part in various trainings, seminars and symposiums held at home and abroad. He came of a respective Muslim family at Singair Upazila of Manikganj. He is the father of two sons in family life.
