Business Correspondent: Pakistan High Commissioner H.E. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui has been accorded a warm welcome by the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday. During this time, important exchanges have taken place in the development of trade relations. Pak High Commissioner briefed by Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) during his Ctg visit. BEPZA playing an important role in promoting exports (around 20% of total exports). H.E. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui also visited Dargah of sufi saint Hazrat Shah Amanat in Chattogram. He was warmly recieved by the devotees at the Dargah and its custodians. The High Commissioner prayed at the Dargah and presented a Quranic calligraphy by a well known Pakistani artist Ajab Khan for the Dargah`s mosque. He briefly spoke with the devotees present at the shrine, thanked them for love and affection with which he was received by all at Shah Amanat and informed them that Bangladesh and Bangladeshis are also held in high esteem and affection by their sisters and brothers in Pakistan. Pakistan remained committed to further promoting its fraternal relations with Bangladesh.
