Although some buses were running intermittently on some routes till Monday evening, they have been completely closed since Tuesday morning. Autorickshaws or small vehicles as an alternative to passenger buses have also been closed since Tuesday morning.

Aminul Islam of Mohanpur area was bargaining with autorickshaw in Railgate area of ​​the city. He said he needed to go to Chapainawabganj for business. For this I reached the city by CNG with great difficulty. But I can`t go to Chapainawabganj after coming to the city. Other times auto rickshaws go, today they also do not want to go. Even if one wants to go, he wants to rent three times more than the other day.

Zahirul Islam came to Rajshahi with his family from Natore. Will return home, but can`t get a car. Waiting with extreme suffering. Autorickshaws do not match. Annoyance has increased with the suffering but helpless.

Visiting the Shiroil bus terminal in the city, it is seen that the passengers are in extreme disarray. They are traveling to the destination in human haulers, CNG and autorickshaws. For this extra rent has to be calculated. Have to wait.

Visiting the central bus terminal at Naodapara in the city, it was seen that all types of buses are closed. No long distance bus left from Shiroil bus terminal. Did not leave any route bus including Antzela. However, bus counters are open at the terminals.

Matiul Haque Tito, general secretary of the Rajshahi Road Transport Group, said they feared chaos on the roads centered on the BNP`s divisional rallies. They fear that the car may be vandalized. So the bus has been stopped for the safety of the workers` lives and vehicles. The situation may improve after three this afternoon. Tito hopes that the bus service will resume normally in the evening.

Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP president Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul has demanded that all routes from Rajshahi to Dhaka, including Dhaka, be abruptly halted ahead of their divisional assembly. This is because people cannot come to the departmental assembly. Besides, nothing else.
