3 employees arrested who fled from Tangail with crores of Taka in cash

Abu Sayem, Cox`s Bazar: Cox`s Bazar District Intelligence Agency (DB) has arrested three employees who fled Tangail with crores of rupees in cash. According to the source, the three employees escaped from Tangail with one crore rupees in cash and hid in Cox`s Bazar but did not defend themselves in the end. They are trapped by the Detective Branch (DB) police.

The arrested employees are Mohammad Atiqur Rahman (24), son of Anisul Haque of Mirzabari (Brahmanbari) in Madhupur, Tangail, Nurul Islam, 25, son of Abdul Hamid of Tabani Teki area of ​​Mirzabari and Shamim Hossain, 24, son of Abdul Mannan of Dari Hasil area.

They were arrested from St. Martin`s Resort in Kalatali around 7pm on Wednesday, said Sheikh Mohammad Ali, OC of the district detective (DB) police.

He said shop owner Md Mohiuddin Sumon had filed a case with Ghatail Police Station in Tangail alleging that three employees had fled the shop with Tk 1 crore. Based on accurate information, three employees have been arrested in a raid at Kalatali St. Martin Resort in the city. They have admitted to embezzling Tk. 98 lakh.

The arrested persons will be sent to Tangail through legal process, said the DBOC.
