90 people fined for non-compliance with health rules

Rafiqul Islam, Sirajganj: In the second phase, a mobile court has fined 90 people in Sirajganj for not following the health rules announced by the government to prevent the transmission of corona virus.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Mohammad Tofazzal Hossain confirmed the information at 11am on Wednesday. He said a total of 11 mobile courts were run on Tuesday from morning till night under the leadership of executive magistrates of nine upazilas, including the district headquarters. During these raids, 61 cases have been filed on various charges including not wearing a mask, keeping businesses open in lockdown, and going out without any reason. In these cases, 90 people have been fined a total of Tk 18,060 in different amounts.
