Liakut Rajshahi Bureau: Md. Mashiur Rahman has joined Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) as the new Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Airport Police Station. The OC of Airport Police Station has been transferred to Kantakhali Police Station. This information was confirmed by RMP media spokesperson Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Golam Ruhul Quddus last Saturday.

It is learned that Moshiur Rahman joined the police in 2007 as an SI. In 2016, he served as a Personal Admin Officer at the UN Mission in Darfur Sector Headquarters.

It is further learned that he has been performing all the duties of the police with a reputation as the OC (Investigation) of Kashiadanga Police Station for a long time. He has recently been rewarded for his successful service and good work. RMP Police Commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique presented him with the award.

Mashiur Rahman said, "We can fulfill the responsibility given by the Hon`ble Commissioner of Police." It is my pledge to work successfully under the direction of Commissioner Sir. Thana will be one of the places where the people`s expectations and needs are met.
