Online Desk : MetLife Bangladesh has recently added Nagad as a premium payment channel, allowing their customers to use the Nagad app to pay premiums without having to visit physical locations.
Nagad is a mobile financial venture by Bangladesh Post Office that launched in 2019 for daily financial transactions.
Premium payment through Nagad offers 24/7 payment accessibility and instant payment acknowledgment through SMS or digital receipts through the app, said a press statement.
By providing affordable services, Nagad encourages digital transactions, especially during the pandemic and the digitalization of the service industry.
MetLife Bangladesh’s General Manager, Ala Ahmad, said they made this decision after seeing an increasingly high number of customers opting for digital services.
Managing Director of Nagad, Tanvir A Mishuk, stated: “Partnering with metLife Bangladesh is a part of the process to ease our customers’ life for paying their premium using the latest digital payment mode.”
