Online Report : Two patients have been detected with Indian variant of Covid-19 at Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) dedicated Covid-19 hospital in Dhaka.
The hospital director Brigadier General AKM Nasir confirmed the matter to media on Friday.
“We have identified Indian variant of COVID-19 among the two patients who came from India,” said Nasir, adding that, “Their samples have been sent to the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH). We are keeping a strict surveillance on those who are coming from India.”
He asked everyone to be aware of Coronavirus.
The hospital director Nasir also advised to follow the health guidelines and said that it would be terrible if the Indian variant of cornavirus spreads.
Earlier on May 8, first case of Indian variant COVID-19 was spotted at Evercare Hospital in the city.
