The Muslim Times: What should we do to promote the tourism industry?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf:Bangladesh is a country in the world, where there is a huge store of the almighty Allahu Subhanahu wa Ta`wala. In this country there are lots of plants, rivers, hills and mountains. Fertile land and green trees are looks everywhere in Bangladesh. So not only is the name, in fact Bangladesh a wonderful country for tourism. Here is the kindness and grace of the almighty Allah. People from different parts of the world, including Saudi Arabia, are fascinated by the natural beauty of this country.

The Muslim Times: What are the main obstacles to the development of the tourism industry in Bangladesh?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: The major hurdle in the development of the tourism industry in this country is unrest. Again, does not have the right direction in his actions, even if he makes the right theory. Lack of work of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation is also a major obstacle to the development of tourism industry in this country.

The Muslim Times: Why hopefully inbound tours are not coming from the cloud in our country?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: There are several reasons why foreigners do not come to Bangladesh. Firstly, there is a lack of security. In this case we can point out the insecurity of Cox`s Bazar. Secondly, we can mention about the political instability in our country. Thirdly, Bangladesh`s missions abroad are not able to attract foreigners by accurately displaying information about the tourist destinations in this country. Fourthly, quality hotels in our country are not enough. Moreover, foreign tourists are not coming to our country due to lack of necessary infrastructure development in the turbulent environment and tourist areas.

The Muslim Times: Do you think the current government`s move to develop tourism is enough?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: No, I do not consider the current government`s move to develop tourism sufficient. If the government wants, it can take various steps to promote important tourist destinations including traditional mosques, temples and monasteries in the country to create more beautiful tourist friendly environment.

The Muslim Times: What is the reason for encouraging tourism in different scriptures?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: As tourism develops knowledge, the heart of man is stirred by the creation of the Creator of the Almighty Allah. I think it is encouraging to travel in the scriptures so that people can get a proper education despite the punishment of the liars of various times in different prophets.

The Muslim Times: What steps can be taken to bring about the infrastructure development and clean environment of tourist spots?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: In addition to the necessary infrastructure development in the tourist areas, the government should implement the proper plan and enhance the quality of the hotels operated by Bangladesh Tourism Corporation. Moreover, the government should be more stringent in bringing back clean environment and necessary discipline.

The Muslim Times: How satisfied are the activities of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation and Tourism Board?

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: The activities of the tourism corporation and the tourism board have not yet reached the standard.

The Muslim Times: Thanks a lot for giving times.

Alhaj Mohammad Abu Yusuf: Same to You.
