Online Desk : Bangladesh Railway has decided to conduct `special cattle train services` from July 17-19 ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Shariful Alam, senior information officer of the department, confirmed the news on Tuesday.
The train services will be operated from Jamalpur`s Dewanganj Bazar to Dhaka from July 17-19. The number of trains will be increased or decreased according to the demand of cattle traders, Shariful Alam said.
The trains will leave Dewanganj Bazar at 3:30pm and will arrive Dhaka at 6am the next day. Each train has the capacity of carrying around 400 cattle.
