Sports Desk: Dr Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan has said the restoration of international cricket in Pakistan is a welcome moment for the country. Talking to Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket teams at Presidency in Islamabad on Thursday, he said there is no issue of law and order situation in the country due to bold measures taken by the government and Pakistan Army.

The President thanked Bangladeshi government and Cricket Board for allowing its team to visit Pakistan. He hoped that both teams would present best performance in all matches. Dr Arif Alvi added that Pakistan was a beautiful country and its people were very kind and the visiting team would enjoy hospitality of Pakistanis.
