Pak High Commissioner on a two-day visit of Chattogram

Diplomatic Correspondent: High Commissioner of Pakistan Mr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui is on a two-day visit of Chattogram. During the visit, High Commissioner called on Chairman Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) and Commissioner Customs.

Last evening, the High Commissioner hosted a dinner in honour of the business community of Chattogram as well as media representatives. In his address, High Commissioner highlighted the common bonds of history, faith and culture between Pakistan and Bangladesh and briefed the gathering on Pakistan High Commission`s efforts to promote stronger economic relations between the two countries. He invited the Bangladeshi business community to consider the investment opportunities being offered by the connectivity projects in Pakistan including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The participants thanked the High Commissioner and expressed hoped that Pakistan High Commission will continue such fruitful engagements in future also.

The High Commissioner also presented Bangla version of coffee table Book on Arabic Art Calligraphy to the participants which was widely appreciated.
