89.24% fail DU `Ka` unit admission test

Online Desk : 89.24% of the candidates have failed the undergraduate admission test of “Ka” unit of Dhaka University (DU), under its Science Faculty, for the 2020-21 academic session.

DU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the result at Professor Abdul Matin virtual classroom on the campus at 12:30pm on Wednesday.

A total of 10,165 among 94,509 admission seekers passed the test for 1,815 seats.

The results are available at the university website (www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd).

Results can also be obtained via text message on Robi, Airtel, Banglalink and Teletalk mobile operator services. (DU KA to 16321)

The successful candidates will have to fill up subject choice through the admission website between November 9 and 21.

The admission test was held on October 1 on the campus in the Dhaka and in seven other divisions of the country for the first time, considering the pandemic situation and reducing hassle of admission seekers.

The universities outside Dhaka where examinations took place are Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Khulna University, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Barishal University, and Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.
