Bangladesh reports 4th death from Covid-19

Another person has died from the coronavirus in Bangladesh, taking the total death toll from Covid-19 disease in the country to four, said the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).

Besides, six more people have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
With the fresh cases, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 39. However, five of them have already recovered.
IEDCR Director Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora revealed the latest coronavirus figures at a press briefing through online on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the coronavirus or COVID-19 has reached 16,524 globally as of Tuesday. It has so far infected 379,080 people around the world, according to worldometer.
Of them, 248,084 are currently being treated with 12,062 being in serious or critical condition. So far, 118,934 cases had outcomes and of them, 102,410 (86 percent) recovered and 14 percent died.

COVID-19 is affecting 195 countries and territories around the world and one international conveyance (the Diamond Princess cruise ship harboured in Yokohama, Japan). The World Health Organization on March 11 declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic.
