  Date : 29-03-2024

A court has framed charges against the renowned actress Pori Moni and two others in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.

The two other accused are Ashraful Islam Dipu and Kabir Hossain.

Judge Mohammad Nazrul Islam of Dhaka Special Judge’s Court passed the order on Wednesday.

Earlier on October 4, the investigation officer of the case and Inspector of the Criminal Investigation Department of Police Kazi Mostofa Kamal submitted a charge sheet against them to the court.

Based on specific information on August 4 last year, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Pori Moni from her Banani’s residence in a raid.

During the drive, large quantities of alcohol, drugs, LCD, and ICE were recovered from the scene.
