RMCH records 2 more deaths in Covid-19 unit

News Desk : Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased were the residents of Rajshahi and died with Covid-19 symptoms, reports BSS.

Meanwhile, one more patient was admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 43, including 30 tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

Sixteen other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

On the other hand, 46 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 159 samples in Rajshahi`s two laboratories on Friday, showing a 28.71 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 41.54 percent in Chapainawabganj and 9.52 percent in Natore.
