Human chain of NU students in Rajshahi demanding taking exams
  Date : 20-04-2024

Liakut Hossain, Rajshahi: Students under the NationalUniversity have organized a human chain in Rajshahi demanding to take the ongoing examinations under the NationalUniversity. They held a human chain under the banner of ordinary students at Saheb Bazar Zero Point in the city at 10:30 am on Saturday. The students chanted slogans with placards in their hands and demanded speedy conduct of the ongoing examinations of the NationalUniversity affiliated courses.

Several students of the NationalUniversity who participated in the human chain said that they want to take the exams in compliance with the health rules. Two years have been lost from their lives due to corona. They have already gone after the session. They do not want to read in any other session in the future. They expressed outrage that the NationalUniversity authorities would harass the students in this way, they would not accept it. The students demanded to take their exams as per the routine.

They also said that everything is open in the country. The fair can continue if the hygiene rules are followed. If people can move in vehicles and elections can be held then why they should not be tested according to the hygiene rules. They demanded the authorities to take the remaining ongoing tests in compliance with the health rules. They say they have only three more tests. This time the test is going to be closed. It is extremely difficult. The students present sought the intervention of the Education Minister and the Prime Minister to arrange for these examinations. Because they express that they no longer want to be a burden to their parents.
