Bank officials, staff must have vaccine certificates: BB

Online Desk : As Coronavirus infections keep rising in the country, the central bank has issued some new instructions for all the scheduled banks to prevent the spread of the virus.

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has instructed the top executives of banks to follow the hygiene rules to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, reports UNB.

The instructions include officers and employees working in the banks must obtain vaccination certificate.

Besides, bank officers, employees and service recipients have been asked to abide by hygiene rules including wearing masks.

Md. Sirajul Islam, executive director and spokesperson of BB, said those who have been vaccinated against Covid must collect the vaccine certificate.
