TSAT, NEW DELHI: The tragic deaths of four Indian family members including two children at US-Canada border last week triggered strong criticism against government in India.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Gujrat, the home state of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his close aid, Nitin Patel said Indians leaving the country because of lack of jobs opportunity in the country.

According to NDTV, the ruling party key leader questioned during addressing to a gathering in Gujrat said that people are going to western countries because there is no opportunities for them in India.

In November, the Bloomberg reported that employment rate in India increased to 7.75% as the country economy badly hit by the COVID-19.

Patel added that young people studying hard but after graduation they could not find any job.

On Jan. 19, the Canadian authorities found four dead bodies including a man, woman, a teenage boy and an infant in Manitoba province at border with the US, who lost lives due to cold weather while the gang trafficking them to the US.

The US authorities later revealed on Saturday that some Indian national living in the US and Canada are operating a human trafficking gang.

According to the BBC recent report, unemployment rate in over 1.30 billion population country raised nearly to eight percent, the highest number since 1991 when New Delhi had dollars less  to pay for imports.

·”People are braving to escape. Don`t be surprised if more Indian people started to illegally migrate to different countries even to Bangladesh,” chetan naik from Bengaluru tweeted.

The young people who have universities degrees even searching for lower class employment in government and private sectors.

“Situation in the country is worsening day by day as last week i went for an interview in health department and there i learned that over 50,000 people have applied for 130 posts,” Miss Kavita Arjun, a resident of New Delhi told The South Asia Times.

“Now i am also thinking to leave this country because there is no job and even no security for girls as the current government people only promoting hatred and violence not working to provide jobs to the educated people,” she added.
