50th anniv of World Vision Bangladesh observed in Gazipur

Syed Atik, Gazipur:  50th Anniversary of World Vision Bangladesh was celebrated in Tongi yesterday at a local community center at Duttapara area in the city. Marking the day, campaigns on air pollution free city, adolescent reproductive health, child labor elimination and child friendly dream parks were inaugurated. The event was organized by Tongi Urban Program, World Vision Bangladesh and Westtech.

 Gazipur City Corporation Acting Mayor Asadur Rahman Kiran was present as the chief guest at the function presided over by World Vision Bangladesh Deputy Director Manju Maria Panna. Special guests were Ward Councilor No. 49 Mohammad Faruk Ahmed, Ward Councilor No. 51 Abu Bakkar Siddique, Ward Councilor No. 54 Md. Nasir Uddin Mollah, Ward Councilor No. 57 Abul Hossain, Tongi World Vision Bangladesh Program Officer Lawrence Folia, Tongi`s World Vision Bangladesh Junior Program Officer Srabanta Biswas were present on the occasion.
