Two members of Bangladeshi family killed in Saudi Arabia road crash

Online Report : Two members of a Bangladeshi family were killed in a road accident on the Jeddah-Madinah road in Saudi Arabia on Thursday night.

Deceased were Abdul Malek, 74, and his niece Taslima Begum, 20, residents of Dakshin Sadharchar village under Shibpur upazila in Narsingdhi district.

According to witnesses and the deceased`s family members, Malek and Taslima went to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.


At about 11 pm on Thursday, the duo along with their family members were going to Madinah city from Jeddah city. A microbus collided head-on with their private car on the way, leaving Abdul Malek and Taslima dead and six others critically injured.

The injured are taking treatment in hospital.

Sadhachar Union Parishad Member confirmed the matter.
