The number of unemployed people is increasing in Corona: Mostafa
  Date : 19-04-2024

Rahmatullah: Since the onset of coronary heart disease in the country, many low-income people have become unemployed. Gradually, many lower-middle class people are facing various problems, said Bangladesh NAP Secretary General M. Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan said that the number of unemployed people is constantly increasing in the midst of this corona. On the other hand, in this horrific state of the Corona epidemic, the government`s self-contradictory decision, sometimes due to indecision, is causing various complications in the society. As a result, anger is accumulating in the minds of the people. The government may have to pay the ultimate price if that anger erupts.

He was speaking at a memorial service and prayer program organized by Bangladesh National Awami Party-Bangladesh NAP on Monday (June 22) on the occasion of the 7th death anniversary of Nazhat Gani Shabnam, a member of the Advisory Council of Bangladesh NAP, courtesy of AMOnline TV.
He said the late Najhat Gani Shabnam, as our guardian, played a proper role in determining what to do in the national crisis and national politics. He has closely observed the political activities of the oppressed public leaders Maulana Bhasani and Mashiur Rahman Jadu Miah. His dream of a Bangladesh free from exploitation has not materialized even today.
The NAP Secretary General further said that the government should take immediate and effective steps to alleviate the anger accumulated in the minds of the people. Middle-lower middle-class people need to ensure food security. The government needs to be tough on stopping NGOs like New India from raising installments for micro-credit projects. Adequate time should be given without forcing the landlords to pay the outstanding electricity-gas-water bills. Otherwise various kinds of accidents may happen in the society, public discontent may explode. The result will not be good for anyone.
NDP Secretary General took part in more discussions in the virtual meeting. Manjur Hossain Isa, Jagpa General Secretary SM Shahadat, NAP Vice Chairman Swapan Kumar Saha, Joint Secretary General Ehsanul Haque Jasim, Organizing Secretary. Kamal Bhuiyan, Dhaka Metropolitan President. Shahidunnabi Dablu, Nilphamari district joint convener M Wahidur Rahman, Dimla upazila leader. Mofakkarul Islam Pelb, Domar Upazila leader Jagbandhu Roy and others.
A special munajat was held on the occasion seeking the blessings of the soul of the late Najhat Gani Shabnam.
