At least 37 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) died from coronavirus or COVID-19 so far across the country. Party`s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir disclosed the information at a virtual press conference of BNP’s National Coronavirus Monitoring Cell on Thursday.
He also said that at least 284 other BNP leaders and activists were infected with the deadly virus.

The party compile the information all the organizational divisions.
The BNP leader said that the number of infected ones would be much higher as they were yet to get the information of all leaders and activists. He said that the number of infection and death of party leaders and activists was increasing every day.
