Rajshahi BCSIR’s scientific officer dies with Covid-19 symptoms

Rajshahi Bureau: A senior scientific officer of Bangladesh Science and Industry Laboratory (BCSIR) in Rajshahi died with Covid-19 like symptoms at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Asadul Islam, 55, son of late Akram Ali, hailing from Budhpara area in the district.
He breathed his last at the Intensive Care Unit of the RMCH around 8:30 pm while undergoing treatment.

Nazmul Haque, a close relative of the deceased, said that Asadul Islam was admitted to the hospital on Thursday with fever, cold and cough.
