PSTU VC & his wife airlifted to Dhaka for Covid-19 treatment

News Desk: Coronavirus-infected vice-chancellor of Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) Prof Dr Md Harun-or-Rashid and his wife Konika Mahfuz were airlifted to Dhaka for better treatment on Tuesday. A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) brought them to Dhaka at 11:10am, said a press release of Inter Service Public Relation Directorate (ISPR)
Later, they were admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Bangladesh Air Force has been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation assistance in aid to civil power under Bangladesh Armed Forces. In line with this, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat provided the necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation mission.
