  Date : 19-04-2024
Dr. Muhammad Mahtab Hossain Majed: In the coronavirus epidemic, mosquito-borne dengue could be even more alarming than last year. This is because most people have died and been infected in the last year since the outbreak of dengue in the country. From January to April this year, 298 people were diagnosed with dengue but no deaths were reported. However, only 131 people were infected at this time last year.

Experts say the outbreak could increase in July-August this year if action is not taken as soon as possible.

An infectious tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, and a characteristic skin rash that is equivalent to measles. In rare cases the disease Deadly dengue results in hemorrhagic fever, which results in bleeding, low levels of blood molecules and blood plasma secretion, or dengue shock syndrome, where blood pressure is dangerously low.

It is a very widespread and short-lived permanent fever. In the United States it is called breakbone fever. At the end of the rainy season, the fever is spread by mosquitoes.

The disease first appeared in the form of an epidemic in Dundee, Scotland, so it is also called Dandy fever. It can be divided into two types - general dengue fever and hemorrhagic dengue fever.

Symptoms usually appear within five to seven days of being bitten by a dengue-carrying mosquito. Some dengue patients recover completely without any symptoms.

Symptoms of dengue fever include fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, and skin rash, which is the equivalent of haemorrhage. In short, the disease develops into fatal dengue hemorrhagic fever, which results in bleeding, low levels of blood molecules, and subsequently dengue shock syndrome.
Most dengue fever heals in seven days and most are not terrible. It is necessary to drink enough water, rest and drink plenty of fluids. This fever is caused by the pain of broken bones in the body. This is why this fever is called dengue fever.

Symptoms that appear. Suddenly there is a slight chill and high fever with redness in the eyes. Fever can be from 102 to 105 degrees. Nausea and constipation are present. The eyes become red. Swelling of the face occurs. After two or three days, the fever started again on the fourth day. Measles-like eruptions are seen with it. It disappears after 2/3 days. But at the end of the fever, there is extreme weakness, loss of appetite, mental exhaustion. In dengue fever, the pulse rate is less than the heat. There is a lack of white blood cells and the amount of eosinophils increases. Many times it is difficult to tell the difference between influenza and rheumatic fever.

The fever can be divided into two types - general dengue fever and hemorrhagic dengue fever.

Hemorrhagic dengue fever: Decreased radiance of the skin, skin feeling sticky and cold. There is severe abdominal pain all the time. Bleeding may occur under the gums, nose, mouth or skin at first. There may be black spots under the skin. The children are constantly crying. Gets very thirsty. There may be shortness of breath and occasional vomiting. Vomiting may not contain blood. There may be black colored toilets. The most common form of dengue fever is called dengue shock syndrome. In this condition the heart rate increases. Blood pressure drops. The whole body, including the hands, became cold as ice. At some point the patient may faint. The patient feels very restless, at the same time feeling sleepy.Things to do: Patients with dengue fever should wipe the body with cold water to prevent high temperature. If the body feels cold, you have to give food saline. Patients with hemorrhagic dengue fever should be taken to hospital. He should be kept at full rest and given more water to drink.

Homeopathy: The patient is treated, not the disease, so if an experienced physician can select the complete symptoms of the patient`s disease, then by the grace of God, it is possible to treat dengue fever in homeopathy. Homeopathy Medicines used by experienced physicians such as Aconite, Belladonna, Bryonia, Rastox, Eupeterium Parf, Arsenic Album, Carbovez, Epicac, Sulfur and many more may come on the symptoms. So consult an experienced homeopath to protect yourself from dengue fever.
