  Date : 29-03-2024

Rajshahi Correspondent: Some 250 flood-affected families at Char Mazar Diar village under Paba Upazila in the district were given relief materials so that they can overcome their livelihood-related hardships triggered by the natural disaster.

Each of the beneficiaries was given a food-package containing 15 kilograms of rice, two kilograms of potato and edible oil each and one kilogram of pulse, salt, suji and sugar each.

Rajshahi District unit of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) disbursed the relief materials through maintaining social distancing and other health related government guidelines. Zila Parishad Chairman Muhammad Ali Sarker was present at the distribution programme saying the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working to cope with the present disastrous situation.

He also said the BDRCS has been working relentlessly for the wellbeing of the worst-affected people. BSS
