Announcing a nationwide crackdown if false cases in the name of journalists are not withdrawn; human chain in Kushtia

Abdur Razzak Bachchu, Kushtia: A human chain was held in Kushtia to protest against the filing of false and baseless ridiculous cases in the name of two journalists. Advocate Sharif Uddin Rimon, the No. 1 plaintiff in the case, filed a harassment case after publishing news on the basis of specific information in the name of Sheikh Nazmul Hossain, general secretary of Kushtia District Online Press Club, at a Kushtia Thana traffic intersection on Thursday organized by Kushtia District Online Press Club. Advocate Sharif Uddin Rimon, a local Awami League leader, filed a case against KushtiaDaulatpurFilipnagarMarichaDegreeCollege on the grounds of irregularities and corruption. He is a close relative of the plaintiff in the case and the number one witness there is Sharif Uddin Rimon, the president of the governing body of the college. Speakers called for the withdrawal of the false case as soon as possible, citing a media report as a threat to the media, and warned of a nationwide human chain, including a strong movement if the case is not withdrawn immediately. Last Tuesday and Wednesday, the staff, readers and well-wishers of Daulatpur 24 staged a human chain in protest of this false and motive-driven case and expressed solidarity with all the programs taken by the journalists on this issue. Prominent journalist and Kalasti Shamsur Rahman Swapan, Founder General Secretary of Bangladesh Online Press Club and Founder President of Online News Protocol Association (BONPA) was present to make the human bond a success. At the time, he said, a cycle of criminals and corruption had kept him in the lurch. A mahal is acting as a fuel for criminals. They will be distributed from Kushtia. Shah Alam Reza, president of Kushtia District Online Press Club, said that the online press club is now established in Kushtia, if the shadow is kicked, the shadow also jumps. The general secretary of Kushtia District Online Press Club said, "I cannot be suppressed by threatening to sue again and again." As far as I know, all these corrupt people will be brought under the law by leaking Moral. Also present was Hasan Ali, a representative of Banglavision, who said that a media worker works as a carrier of the people. Journalists can never be suppressed with all these false cases. Rafiqul Islam Sabuj, legal adviser of Kushtia Online Press Club, said at the time that it was a punishable offense to file a false case in the name of a journalist and that he would be prevented by law. Also present were Kushtia Online Press Club Advisor, prominent businessman Aminzzaman Shaheen, District Online Press Club Co-President Bakul Biswas, Co-Publicity Secretary Ruhul Amin. Bheramara Online Press Club President Dr. Kamrul Islam Mona, Co-President Anwar Parvez Shant, General Secretary Saiful Islam, Executive Member Ahsan Habib Jhalak, Daulatpur Online Press Club Golam Kibria Jibon, Taukir Ahmed, Khalid Saiful Kumarkhali Co-President Mosharraf, Daily World Map Hossain, eminent poet Kumkum, Razia Sultana and various print and electronic media workers were present at that time.
