Advocate Sharif Uddin Rimon, the No. 1 plaintiff in the case, filed a harassment case after publishing news on the basis of specific information in the name of Sheikh Nazmul Hossain, general secretary of Kushtia District Online Press Club, at a Kushtia Thana traffic intersection on Thursday organized by Kushtia District Online Press Club. Advocate Sharif Uddin Rimon, a local Awami League leader, filed a case against KushtiaDaulatpurFilipnagarMarichaDegreeCollege on the grounds of irregularities and corruption. He is a close relative of the plaintiff in the case and the number one witness there is Sharif Uddin Rimon, the president of the governing body of the college. Speakers called for the withdrawal of the false case as soon as possible, citing a media report as a threat to the media, and warned of a nationwide human chain, including a strong movement if the case is not withdrawn immediately.
