Own Correspondent: In this age of dynamic advancement of modern science and technology, sophisticated nanotechnology in all fields including electronics used in daily life, renewable energy, agricultural production, food processing, textiles, sensing, strengthening national security, diagnostics, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, environmental protection have used widely. Nanotechnology is making a significant contribution to the treatment of cancer by keeping healthy cells intact and delivering essential medicines only to infected cells.

The seminar was held at last Sunday night where chaired by BUET professor Al-Naqib Chowdhury and conducted by Mohammad Mahbub Rabbani, Associate Professor of Chemistry at American International University Bangladesh (AIUB). A virtual seminar (webinar) on "Nano Drug Delivery System" has been organized by Bangladesh Nano Society due to global corona.

The main article was presented by the Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy, NorthSouthUniversity. Md. Hossain Shahriar. The Bangladesh Nano Society was formed in June this year through a virtual discussion between teachers and researchers of various universities in the country and abroad.

Mohammad Jamal Uddin, CopinStateUniversity professor and director of the Center for Nanotechnology in the United States, Director of Cellular and Molecular Imaging Lab at Henry Ford Hospital Dr. M Messer Ali and Samiul Azam, a postdoctoral fellow at The Johns Hopkins University discusses the article presented in the webinar. The virtual seminar became meaningful with the spontaneous participation of hundreds of teachers, researchers and students from home and abroad. The two-hour lively discussion on the multifaceted use of fast-moving advanced nanotechnology, the need for research on the subject, Nano-medicine, Nano-drug delivery systems, tissue engineering, sophisticated diagnostic equipment, etc. The webinar is the first initiative of Bangladesh Nano Society.
