Press Release: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited inaugurated 100th, 101st and 102nd sub-branches as well as 43 agent banking outlets across the country. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank inaugurated the sub-branches and agent outlets on 31 August 2020, Monday at virtual platform as chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors of the Bank addressed the program as special guest. Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of the bank presided over the program. Top executives, Head of 10 concerned zones, Head of Branches and sub-branches, Proprietors of 43 agent outlets, clients, well-wishers and dignitaries of the respective areas participated in the function.

Md. Mahbub ul Alam said that, 102 sub-branches and 1381 agent banking outlets are also important units of IBBL as like as its 357 branches. These units are working to meet up the financial needs of people in remote areas around the country. He also said that, IBBL has become a symbol of trust and confidence of 160 million people of the country, national economy and expatriates. IBBL has recently crossed the deposit milestone of Taka one trillion and achieved highest rating ‘AAA’ for the 3rd time as only private bank in the country, he said.

He expressed gratitude to the government for sincere and prudent guidance in keeping the level of national damage at a minimum level since the beginning of this difficult time of Corona epidemic. He said that, complying with the health rules and guidelines of Bangladesh Bank, IBBL has been devotedly serving its clients through all branches, sub-branches, agent banking outlets and alternative banking technology. He said, IBBL has been maintaining its position amongst top 1000 banks of the world as the only bank of the country for 9th consecutive times and it was possible for the honesty, efficiency, sincerity, dedication and modern services of the employees. This position has also advanced 39 steps in 2020, he added. He directed the bankers to continue sincere, dedicated and modern services.
