Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry mourns the death of Allama Shafi

Press Release: On the death of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi, the eminent scholar, Amir of Hifazat-e-Islam and former `Muhtamim` (Director General) of Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Uloom Moinul Islam Madrasah (Hathazari Madrasa), senior director of Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Monowara Hakim Ali expressed deep condolences on behalf of the party.

He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul. He said that in his death, the country lost a prominent Islamic thinker. His death will be an irreparable loss for the people of Chittagong and the whole country. He seeks His best reward from the Most Merciful.

It may be mentioned that Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi Sahib died on September 18 at a private hospital in the capital. He was 104 years old at the time of his death.
