Press Release: Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) arranged a review meeting over Virtual Conference with 1,038 Branch Managers, 2nd Officers and Field Officers on October 11, 2020. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Mohammad Ismail gave directive speech as chief guest. He emphasized on successful implementation of all programs taken by BKB on the occasion of ÒMujib Borsho” as well as gave importance on achieving all the targets set for the current fiscal to turn every branch of the bank into a profitable ones. The Managing Director Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania presided over the meeting. He thanked everyone for achieving 85% amounting taka 1,013 crore against the allocation of taka 1,199 crore of taka 5,000 crore incentive in the agricultural sector and achieving 62% in the CMSME sector announced by the Hon`ble Prime Minister to reduce the damage of the Covid-19 pandemic. He also gave importance to reduce classified loan at a minimum level under BRPD-5 Circular issued by Bangladesh Bank. The Additional Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division of Finance Ministry Zakia Sultana and the Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Abu Farah Md. Naser participated in the conference virtually as special guests. The Board of Directors of the Bank Mohammad Shafiqul Azam & Md. Saiful Islam were also connected in the conference. The Deputy Managing Directors Md. Afzal Karim, Shirin Akhter and Md. Kaisul Haque as well as all the General Managers including concerned Head of Departments of Head Office along with 2212 officials were also connected in the occasion.
