Jannatul Ferdous: Liberal Democratic Party-LDP President Abdul Karim Abbasi and Secretary General Shahadat Hossain Selim have said that the people of Bangladesh have been subjected to so much rape, torture and looting in the 49 years of independence. Didn`t see vote robbery at night. They made the remarks in a statement on Monday.
Complaining that most of the accused in rape and violence against women across the country belong to the ruling Awami League. They said that during the tenure of this government, the word `justice` has been lost and they have survived injustice in the name of justice. It is nothing but foolishness to expect justice from a government that uses state institutions as partisans of vote rigging.
The two leaders said the present government has pushed the people to the margins by ignoring their basic human rights. With the help of those in power, illegal terrorists are dominating all over the society. The government wants to rule the people with tears in its eyes. There can be no welfare of the country and nation with bank robbers and vote robbers. The power of teaching history cannot be perpetuated by force. Hitler, Mussolini, Hosni Mubarak could not stay in power by force, nor will this government. Fall is inevitable for them.
