Affected farmers Mansur Rahman, Sultan Mahmud, Sohrab Ali, Shamsul Haque, Chabed Ali, Juran Ali, Mojibar Mallick, Rezaul Karim, Zahurul Islam, Abdul Motaleb and Shahadat Hossain said that due to unplanned illegal digging of ponds everywhere, the head of Sadar Union, , Bidimagura and Boalia village areas are flooded with flood waters. Although water has receded from the surrounding agricultural lands, their lands are still submerged.
