Miah Abdul Hannan: Protest procession has been held in Ruhitpur with anti-France slogans. Thousands of devout Islamists rallied in protest of French President Emmanuel Macron`s controversial remarks and France`s anti-Islamic activities on Saturday. A procession came out from in front of Ruhitpur Al-Amin Jame Mosque and Alhaj Allama Abdul Hamid Pir Sahib offered Madhupur munajat at Ramerkanda Central Eidgah Maidan adjacent to RamekandaIspahaniUniversity and declared the protest procession over. Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Abdul Hamid Peer Sahib Madhupur speaking as the chief guest. President of Muslim Ummah Unity Council Allama Mufti Zahidul Islam presided over the program. Among others, Maulana Nur Ahmed Jihadi Mohtamim Hafizia Madrasa, Maulana Ayub Ali Siddiqui Mohtamim Islamia Madrasa, Alhaj Maulana Abdur Rauf Bikrampuri Naibe Mohtamim Madurna Mawlana Mounfir. Large scale protests against anti-Islamic activities have taken place in different countries of the world including Dhaka. The protests called for an immediate apology from France. Otherwise, the agitated Touhidi people warned of a more severe movement. Every Islamic Tawheed crowd in Bangladesh is protesting against the insult to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Every mosque and madrasa in Bangladesh has also protested. The Muslim world is up in arms over the French president`s controversial remarks. Many Muslim countries have already banned the use of French products. Keram leaders informed the ulama.
