Online Desk : Dhaka City North Awami League has got full committee. Ruling Awami League came up with names and posts of the leaders in the body Wednesday night.
A year ago, a partial committee was formed with Sheikh Bazlur Rahman as president and SM Mannan Kachi general secretary.
Last September, they submitted the full committee`s recommendations to the Center.
In the committee, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal MP, Sadek Khan MP, Aslamul Haque MP, Abdul Quader Khan, Nazim Uddin, Jahanara Begum, Wakil Uddin and Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, Anwar Hossain Majumder, Bashir Ahmed and freedom fighter Abul Kashem Khan are vice-presidents.
Joint General Secretaries are Habib Hasan, Matiur Rahman Moti and Zahirul Haque Zillu.
Law Secretary is Anisur Rahman, Agriculture and Cooperatives Secretary Monir Hossain, Information and Research Secretary Minhazul Islam Mizu, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary SM Mahbub Alam, Office Secretary William Praloy Samaddar Bappi, Religious Affairs Secretary Sufi Sultan Ahmed, Publicity and Publication Secretary Aminul Islam Amin, Forest and Environment Secretary Abdul Matin Hawlader, Science and Technology Secretary Nazmul Hasan Bhuiyan Jewel, Women`s Affairs Secretary freedom fighter Meherun Nesa Mary.
Freedom Fighter Affairs Secretary is SM Tofazzal Hossain, Youth and Sports Secretary Abdul Gaffar, Education and Human Resources Secretary Principal MA Sattar, Industries and Commerce Secretary Khasru Chowdhury, Labour Secretary Jahangir Alam Majnu, Cultural Secretary Rokeya Sultana Polly, Health and Population Secretary Kaniz Fatema.
New committee’s Organising Secretary is Azizul Haque Rana, Mizanur Rahman Mizan and ABM Mazhar Anam.
Assistant Publicity and Publication Secretary is MA Hamid, Assistant Office Secretary Abdul Awal Sheikh and Treasurer Engineer Salam Chowdhury.
