Drive at Sirajganj hideout: 4 suspected militants surrender

Online Desk : Four people from a house in Sirajganj`s Shahjadpur upazila, which was cordoned off by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members suspecting it a militant hideout, have surrendered to the elite force.

They came out from the house in Ukilpara area around 10:45am on Friday and surrendered to the RAB, said RAB-12 Sirajganj acting company commander Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj.

The identity of the surrendered people could not be known yet.

Earlier, a bomb disposal unit of of the RAB entered the house around 10:30am.

On information gleaned from two suspected militants detained in Rajshahi on Thursday night, the RAB members cordoned off the house around 5:00am.
