Online Report : The deadline to submit the investigation report of the sensational murder case of journalist couple Sagar and Runi was deferred for 76 times on Sunday.

The date for submission of the probe report was scheduled for today. But, the investigation officer of the case failed to submit the report.

However, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury fixed December 29 as the new date of submission of the report.

Sagar Sarowar, news editor of private TV channel Maasranga, and his wife Meherun Runi, senior reporter of ATN Bangla, were brutally murdered in their rented flat at Rajabazar in Dhaka on February 11, 2012.

After investigation by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police, RAB started probing into the murder on April 18, 2012 at the directive of the High Court.
