Press Release: Journalist, columnist and former student leader Manik Lal Ghosh has been nominated as a member of the Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Awami Juba League. Manik Lal Ghosh, a son of Jhalokati, who was formed from grassroots politics, was earlier a member of Bangladesh Chhatra League Central Committee, convener of Jhalokati Government College Chhatra League, Barisal BM College Chhatra League, Jhalokati District Chhatra League and Awami League Central Information and Research Sub-Committee. In 2000, he participated in the Jhalokati Government College Student Parliament election as a VP candidate from the BCL panel. During the 1/11 Awami League President Sheikh Hasina`s release movement, her columns were published in various dailies to create public opinion.
Manik Lal Ghosh, who has been working as the Deputy Editor of the daily Sakal, has covered the news of the Prime Minister, Awami League and Secretariat Bit for 10 years as a senior reporter of My TV.
