Cabinet members mourn death of noted actor Abdul Quader

Entertainment Desk: A number of cabinet members on Saturday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of renowned actor Abdul Quader.

In separate condolence messages, the ministers and state ministers prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

The cabinet members who condoled the death of Abdul Quader included – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Planning Minister MA Mannan, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder, Environment, Forests and Climate Change Minister M Shahab Uddin.

Besides, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Zahid Ahsan Russell, State Minister for Information Dr. Md. Murad Hasan, State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed and State Minister for Culture Affairs KM Khalid have expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the eminent actor.

Abdul Kader, who was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) since December 21, breathed his last in city’s EvercareHospital at 8:20 am on Saturday.
