He was speaking as the chief guest at a discussion organized by the Bangladesh National Democratic League on Monday (January 18th) in Naya Paltan on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Nobel Peace Prize-winning humanitarian leader Martin Luther King Jr.

He said Martin Luther King Jr. has worked for human rights all his life, he said. It is very difficult to find brave people like him in the present age. Standing on American soil, he has spoken out in support of human rights, all of which have given people the courage to demand their rights.

He said Martin Luther King Jr.`s words and personality had such an impact that he was eventually shot dead. Because there was a power in his speeches and sayings that made ordinary people more and more courageous day by day.

He told all the truths - which unmasked the ruling class of the time. The full civil rights of African Americans in America were guaranteed by this leader.

Bangladesh NAP Secretary General M. Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan said Martin Luther King Jr., born in 1929, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1974. One of the leaders and speakers in modern world history was shot dead by assassins in 1986. But before he died, he did something, and he said something that changed history.

He said that even today, Martin Luther`s words, speeches and ideals continue to inspire and inspire people. In the midst of despair and darkness, people are finding courage and hope in his words. Speaking on the occasion, MA Jalil said that Martin Luther King Jr. knew that the main strategy for the realization of civil rights was non-violent protest, non-violent movement.
