Public life in Chapainawabganj is frustrated by the onset of winter. The temperature dropped to 13 degrees Celsius due to mild cold wave and frosty air. Humidity is 98 percent. According to the meteorological office, a moderate cold wave is expected to pass over Chapainawabganj in a day or two. The temperature can drop to six degrees Celsius. Ordinary people are in dire straits in the sudden onset of winter. In the thick fog and frosty air, people are tired of working day and night in winter. Many people are trying to prevent the cold by burning straw to get rid of the cold due to lack of winter clothes. The northern city has been trembling for two days with thick fog and cold. Children and old people have suffered the most in winter. Extreme misery of working people has suddenly increased in winter. They can`t get out of the house because of the cold. Even in dense fog, vehicles have to drive with their headlights on during the day. The official in charge of the Rajshahi Meteorological Office said that a moderate cold wave could sweep over Chapainawabganj in a day or two. At the same time the temperature can come down to six degrees Celsius.
