MoU between Marine Institute and Resolution to Increase Participation of Persons with Disabilities in Technical Training

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Institute of Marine Technology, Bagerhat and Disability Organizations to include persons with disabilities in technical education institutes and technical training. The MoU was signed in the conference room of the Marine Institute on Monday afternoon. Principal Engineer MD on behalf of the Marine Institute Shamim Hossain and Md. Harun Aur Rashid, president of the organization, signed the memorandum of understanding on behalf of Sankalp. Meanwhile, Albert Mollah, Executive Director, Access Bangladesh Foundation, Golam Kibria, Program Manager, Bangladesh Business and Disability Network; Al Hasib and others were present. Earlier, a day-long workshop on Inclusion of Disabled Students in Technical Educational Institutions was organized by Bangladesh Business and Disability Network in collaboration with ILO, Government of Bangladesh and held in the conference room of Marine Institute.
