Corona next time travel
  Date : 19-04-2024

Online Desk: People under house arrest for more than a year due to Kavid-19 epidemic. Various restrictions are imposed to control the spread of the virus, including lockdowns and travel bans. Due to which people have rarely been able to get out. However, vaccination programs have begun around the world. In this case, the restrictions are relaxed and travel bans are being lifted. As a result, travel to Corona will increase significantly at a later time. The online booking platform AirBNB has given such a forecast.

The company says it is difficult to predict how the business will turn out this year. They said that due to the travel ban due to Kavid-19, their income has decreased by 30 percent compared to last year. Compared to the last three months of 2020, travel has declined slightly this year. However, many experts say that the situation is satisfactory as lockdown has started in many places for the post-Kavid period.

The company’s chief executive, Brian Chesky, said the tour has resumed. In this situation, we are giving more importance to our preparation. At the same time, trips in the aftermath of the epidemic will benefit the company more. Their private homes will make people more interested in traveling as well as meeting family and friends. The opportunity to work in a distant place makes people more inclined to spend several months away from home and travel.

“We’re seeing quite a few new areas,” he said. I don`t think we will go back to 2019 in terms of travel. It is changing and different. At the same time, he warned that not everyone would be encouraged to travel in 2021 because of the immunization program and its side effects. As a result, there is no possibility of starting travel at a massive rate.

"We can`t comment on 2021 right now," Chesky said. This is said to be based on the number of trips to investors only in December.

Airbnb currently operates in 220 countries around the world. They said people were more accustomed to internal travel during the Corona period. However, this is not enough to compensate for the loss of international tourism.

Airbnb`s business in Europe is largely dependent on cross-border travel. It has been badly damaged last year. This is especially so in the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. In this case, North America was the most balanced. In all, Airbnb suffered a loss of ৬ 4.6 billion last year.

A survey conducted in the United States found that about half of the 1,000 participants registered for or planned to travel this year. However, the company has suffered financial losses this year due to the cancellation of several bookings. As a result, they have faced some questions in maintaining the relationship with their hosts.

Angelo Gino, an equity expert, said that if vaccines were widely used in Europe and the United States, they would return to normal. Airbnb`s business model and improvements are quite interesting. He also commented that it is very helpful to find a new place to travel.
