MT Desk: Holy Shabe Meraj will be celebrated all over the world specially Bangladesh tonight in an atmosphere of due religious dignity and solemnity on the occasion of the historic commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad`s (peace be upon him) visit to Meraj.

The Islamic Foundation Bangladesh said in a statement that the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque will also hold a discussion meeting and prayers on the occasion of the celebration of the holy Shabe Meraj in 1442 AH.

Due to the global epidemic, the Islamic Foundation did not organize any Shabe Meraj last year (1441 AH). This year, discussion meetings and prayers will be held with due dignity and solemnity.

A discussion meeting, prayers and munajat on the importance and significance of `Mirajunnabi (PBUH)` will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Johr on Thursday. It will be chaired by the Director General of the Islamic Foundation. Mushfiqur Rahman. Former Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Imam Hafez Maulana Rafiq Ahmad and Jamia Islamia Madrasa Shaykhul Hadith will discuss. Maulana Mushtaq Ahmad.

Besides, Muslims will perform milad mahfil, naafil prayers, recitation of Quran and worship in all mosques across the country.

Last 13th February, 1442 AH, Jamadiul Ukhra month 30 has been completed. The counting of Rajab month has started on Sunday 14th February. As such, the holy Shabe Meraj will be held on the night of 27th Rajab (Thursday) on the occasion of the Miraj in memory of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
