Humanitarian assistance of Bangladesh Navy in different parts of the country

MT Correspondent: The navy is distributing food, financial aid and iftar items to the needy and destitute people in different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka. Members of the Navy distributed food aid to 300 families in the Bahantech area of ​​the capital Dhaka on Sunday (25-04-2021). Besides, relief materials were distributed among 300 helpless families in Khalishpur Bihari Palli of Khulna city, 500 families in Rupsha Ghat area and 200 helpless and destitute families in Labanchara area of ​​Khulna. On the other hand, similar relief items were distributed among 300 families in Kathgarh, Dale Para and Charhalda areas of Chittagong. Besides, relief materials were also distributed by Banauja Mongla among 200 helpless and distressed families in Digraj Bazar and adjoining areas. As food aid, each family is provided with various food and iftar items including rice, pulses, sugar, oil, flour, gram and salt.

To deal with the situation arising out of corona, the sailors are conducting various activities to increase social awareness across the country. The Navy will continue its humanitarian assistance until the situation in the country improves.
