But now to buy a 5 kg watermelon you have to pay 300 to 350 rupees. Many buyers come and bargain with the seller for the price. At one stage they are also involved in disputes. Since it is being sold in kg, many buyers want 1 kg of watermelon from the shopkeeper. Bagbitanda is also going on with this.
Shah Alam Master, a high school teacher in Rajarampur area of ​​the city, who came to buy watermelons, expressed his displeasure and said that watermelons are being sold at Tk. 60 to 70 per kg. Unable to buy watermelon due to extra price, I am going back. He added, "This mismanagement is due to the lack of administration monitoring in the market. Many more like me are coming back to buy watermelons."
