5 lakh doses of China`s vaccine to arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday

Staff Reporter : Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming has said five lakh doses of China`s Sinopharm Coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday.

He said this at DECAB Talk after being connected virtually on Monday.

Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) organized the talk.

To be noted, the World Health Organization (WHO) on May 8 listed the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use.

The Sinopharm vaccine is produced by Beijing Bio-Institute of Biological Products Co Ltd, subsidiary of China National Biotec Group (CNBG).
